Kiosk Project – college

Group Project

Our class was split into teams of three. The goal was to design a temporary kiosk installation at Inje University in South Korea to advertise the foreign exchange program at Kansas State University. We communicated with a team at Inje University over a Mural website to pick the site and help them pick one on our campus and understand one another’s culture.

A challenge we faced as a team was that we weren’t familiar enough with Sketchup to use it to create such organic and irregular forms. We were the only team in our class that was encouraged to not use technology, so I made a physical, to scale model out of clay. We used it to create our 3D renderings.
